The Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats Associations Ltd in London UK, more commonly known as FOSFA International, is the leading international contract issuing and arbitral body concerned exclusively with the global trade in oilseeds, oils and fats.
HBI is a FOSFA associate broker member.
Brokerage Terms & Conditions
HBI is a brokerage and agency company and consequently cannot be held responsible for the proper execution of the contract whose terms have been concluded between the buyer and seller, nor for the non-conformity or inappropriate usage of the material sold.
Please note that our broker’s contracts takes precedence in all terms and conditions over any other contracts that may be issued relating to the trade.
Base Contracts
HBI invites its customers to secure the business execution with application of a FOSFA base contract chosen from the “LIST OF CONTRACTS AVAILABLE FROM FOSFA INTERNATIONAL AS AT JANUARY 2009”. HBI is willing to accept any other reference for those who give their preference to other International Federations such as (NOFOTA, GROFOR, LRBA and GAFTA).
Brokerage Base Contracts
HBI abides by the FOSFA 95 brokerage contract. Whenever possible this FOSFA95 brokerage contract is agreed between HBI and our customers.
